Your Excellence is Our Passion
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence was established in 1999 through the work of many. Chief among them was the Donors Forum of Kentuckiana, Metro United Way, and the City of Louisville.
It was clear that the greater Louisville region of nonprofits needed a central point to access information, best practices, professional development, and hands-on consultation to help our sector reach its individual and collective aspirations. Nearly a decade later, our staff, board, and volunteers, continue to dream big and toil hard to provide that and bring our vision for a community that is vibrant, diverse, and compassionate into reality.
It is hard to believe how much we’ve grown. Our membership stands at over 400 groups and individuals, and we serve nearly 1000 more. We continue to widen our vista, sharing the alchemy of our nonprofit members who manage to weave straw into gold for the greater good. And...our mission, to serve the sector’s quest for excellence through education, consultation, and network advocacy is stronger than ever.
I don’t know where the next ten years will take us, but we will continue to bring our passion to helping you strive for your excellence.
