The Online Donor Database is a free web service offered by CNPE to assist nonprofit organizations in locating funding resources and producing grant applications online. It was built to provide a central location for researching and applying for grants in the CNPE service area.

Based on the Common Grant Application - a standardized application form currently in use by many CNPE members - the Donor Databse collects information about a grant seeking organization (Grant Seekers), the particular project for which that organization is in need of funding, and basic documentation pertaining to nonprofit status.  Once the information is collected, it is be assembled into a completed Common Grant Application and submitted to grant making organizations (Grant Makers) in digital or paper format.

• Search for and locate Grant Making organizations by name, keyword or funding category.
  Create an online profile which is reusable for each application.
• Create projects which may also be reused for submission to multiple funding soruces.
  Upload / Fax supporting documentation (Letter of Exemption, IRS Form 990, etc.), for a completely digital application process.
• Make changes or update your profile, projects, or documentation online, at any time.

• Present your organization's mission, grant application guidelines, contact information, and other application information to Grant Seekers in a clean, well organized manner.
• Generate screening questions to ensure the Grant Seeking organization is a likely match prior to application submittal.
• Require Grant Seekers to request a password prior to completing an application for funding.
• Receive consistent and standardized applications in digital or paper format (or both).
• Specify the number of copies required for paper applications.
• Provide Grant Seekers with a link to your web site or proprietary application.
• Update your Donor profile at any time, day or night.
