A year ago I met with you to discuss opportunities and connections in the nonprofit field. You suggested grant writing, and I thought to myself, 'What's that?' As luck would have it, I landed a contract grant writing position with Kentucky Domestic Violence Association last November and my journey as a grant writer began. This is a great foundation for me as I plan a future career in the nonprofit world.
