Ignite Louisville Make Your Mark Challenge 2010 rss feed
Nonprofits can get energized with the help of a team of young professionals.
The Ignite Louisville Make Your Mark Challenge is a great opportunity for nonprofits - please help us share this call for proposals!
Nonprofits have the opportunity to get the time, energy and expertise of Louisville's brightest young professionals by taking part in the Make Your Mark Challenge, supported by Maker's Mark Distillery, Inc. The competition is a key component in the Leadership Louisville Center's Ignite Louisville program and it challenges the city's leading young professional participants to make their mark on Louisville area nonprofits using their experience and expertise.
Teams of emerging leaders in the 2010 Ignite Louisville class will partner with nonprofits this fall to create and implement solutions for area agencies during the six-month challenge.
A history of results
Ignite Louisville participants have helped nearly 30 nonprofits since the Make Your Mark Challenge began in 2004. Some of the outcomes from Ignite Louisville teams have included:
• Connecting a nonprofit with the community through employment partners, board and volunteer structure, development strategies and facility enhancement
• Helping convert an all-volunteer organization into a nonprofit organization led by a director and board
• Rebranding a nonprofit using resources from several corporate partners
• Creating strategic business plan with board structure, internship program, and marketing support
