Executive Assistant
The Oliver Group is hiring a conscientious, detail-oriented individual who can work independently as the Executive Assistant to its President/CEO and Vice-Presidents.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for the administrative tasks of The Oliver Group’s management team. This position will report directly to the company President. The functions and deliverables of the Executive Assistant role will include communications on behalf of the management team, scheduling, meeting preparation, errands and additional projects as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, experience, education and abilities:
• Minimum education: Associate’s degree
• Professional image and dress
• 4+ years experience as an Executive Assistant or Executive level Administrative Assistant
• Experience making travel arrangements and scheduling
• Computer skills, including MS Office products (Excel, Word etc.) and general database applications
Area Director

With an established clientele across a wide range of industries including healthcare, financial services, professional services, manufacturing and retail, The Oliver Group works with organizations ranging from start ups to $1B+ in revenue. Working primarily with “C” level and VP level contacts, the firm helps clients fuel growth, overcome obstacles and achieve specific goals through a variety of consulting services including Executive Search, Executive Coaching, Strategic Development, Sales Learning, Leader Development and Assessing & Selecting new talent. As a licensee of PI Worldwide, The Oliver Group is part of an international consulting consortium with 7,000 clients in 139 countries.
The AD (Area Director) will be a key contributor to The Oliver Group’s continued success in the management consulting industry through the marketing, sales and account management of all company product/tool/service lines and when appropriate, the delivery of consulting services and solutions within the skill set of the AD.
This position will report directly to the President and will have significant responsibility for generating revenue from new clients via the sourcing, development and maintenance of business relationships as well as when appropriate, delivering consulting solutions and fulfilling client consulting engagement expectations. Qualified candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced degree is a plus
- 10 years track record of success in developing relationships in complex business environments
- Experience networking with CEO, COO, CFO and VP levels
- Sales experience, including prospecting, negotiating, closing and relationship development and management
- 5 - 7 years general business management experience
- Staff management
- Budgeting
- P & L responsibilities
Senior Consultant
The Senior Consultant for The Oliver Group will be a key contributor to The Oliver Group’s continued success in the management consulting industry through sales, marketing and account management. This person will sell and deliver consulting services, working with clients to expand relationships and add value to their businesses.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Proven ability to become trusted advisor to clients
• Experience working with CEO, COO, CFO and VP levels
• Experience with complex business situations
• Minimum of 7 years general business management experience (including staff management, budgeting, P& L responsibilities, etc)
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Speaking experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of strategic planning and execution, succession planning and leadership team development
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Finance or similar field
• Advanced degree is a plus
• 10 years track record of success in consistently meeting quota targets selling intangible services in complex business environments
• Candidates must already reside in Kentucky
