YMCA OF SOUTHERN INDIANA

POSITION: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER SUPERVISOR: JOSEPH LAROCCA

STATUS: FULL TIME EXEMPT

SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS: $50,000 - $60,000The YMCA provides full health insurance and dental for the individual at $20/month, plus 50% of additional premium for family, full retirement at 10% after two years of service, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, attractive PTO/holiday benefit, and opportunity for advanced education and learning.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The CFO will manage the finance and accounting operations of the YMCA of Southern Indiana. This YMCA has two facilities and an operating budget of $7 million, and 410 employees, 60 of whom are full time. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities, financial statement preparation, presentation and analysis, cash management, data processing, audit preparation, human resources management, payroll, and loss prevention. This position will ensure the accurate and orderly operation of the YMCA. Additionally, this position is responsible for fiscal management and forecasting to ensure the financial stability of the YMCA for the future.

QUALIFICATIONS:Qualified candidates must have a BS degree and a minimum of five years experience in fiscal management and financial reporting, preferably in a not-for-profit setting. The position requires a thorough understanding of all areas of federal, state, and local wage and labor laws and regulations, and employee benefits. The position requires a working knowledge of data processing and computer software. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with all segments of the organization in multiple service locations and the local communities.
