The Kentucky Indiana Paralyzed Veterans of America Seeks Executive Director rss feed

The Kentucky Indiana Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (KIPVA), a veteran’s organization serving persons with spinal cord injury and disease, is seeking an executive director. This position is responsible for the overall management of KIPVA’s programs and operations, including but not limited to fund development, office management, community relations, fiscal management, personnel management, and strategic and program planning. The executive director works closely with the board of directors and representatives from the Veterans Administration (VA) health system.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in nonprofit management. Experience working with persons with disabilities or veteran’s organizations is preferred. Candidates will demonstrate skills in leadership, public speaking and communications. This position requires candidates who are able to work with little or no supervision and demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
