AFP greater Louisville Chapter is Accepting Nominations for Annual Philanthropy Day Awards rss feed

The annual Philanthropy Day Luncheon is scheduled for Friday, November 19, 2010 -- to be held at the Marriott Downtown Louisville. The highlight of this event is the awards celebration. It is a chance to thank those who serve as examples for all of our supporters, and for us. Without having to look very hard, you and those you bring with you to the luncheon will see inspiration, passion and commitment on display in abundance.

Please consider nominating one or more of your board members, donors, volunteers and/or deserving colleagues for recognition in one of the following categories:

* Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
* Philanthropist of the Year
* Young Philanthropist of the Year (Ages 18-35)
* Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (Ages 5-17)
* The Frank W. Penick Founder's Award For Excellence in Fundraising Practice

You may find that when you take the time to nominate a volunteer or donor for one of these awards, he or she will immediately feel recognized and appreciated by you and your organization. And if they win, they are even more excited. So take advantage of this opportunity for your organization!
