Subject: Tracing Your African American Roots

Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak is a popular genealogist who has appeared on TV numerous times and written several books. She has researched many family histories including President and Mrs. Obama, Chris Haley, Spike Lee, Emmitt Smith, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Her most current project is NBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” She is an excellent speaker and pioneer in using DNA testing to discover your heritage.
