Executive Director

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

CASA of the River Region Type: Full Time - Experienced

Human Services Required Education: 4 Year Degree

The executive director is responsible for the management of the organization and all aspects of CASA’s operations. This primarily involves the supervision and coordination of a volunteer program that provides CASA services to abused and neglected children. Key responsibilities include, but are not restricted to: resource development and maintenance, community and public relations, program planning, liaison to the board of directors, personnel and fiscal management. NOTES: US Residents Only

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in the non-profit/public service sector. Candidates will demonstrate strong skills in organization, technology (proficient knowledge with SAGE), communication, and administration. Previous experience working with volunteers and knowledge and understanding of child abuse and neglect, families in crisis, fundraising and other social service skills are given priority.
