“Turning Up the Heat: TOGETHER” Education Grants Now Available! rss feed

Metro United Way and the Community Foundation of Louisville are now accepting proposals for their joint “Turning Up the Heat: TOGETHER” education grant. The purpose of this grant is to “promote a culture that encourages college success from cradle to career by identifying and supporting new and promising practices in our regional community.”  Accordingly, grants will be awarded to education projects focused on the following programmatic areas: early childhood, early grade reading, middle school transitions, high school graduation and transitions from college to career.  Selected agencies will receive grants of up to $10,000.  Agencies must be an existing 501(c) (3), school or faith-based organization in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, or Bullitt County, Kentucky, or in Floyd, Clark or Harrison County Indiana.
