Metro United Way Grant Applications due in January... Awarding up to $10K per organization. rss feed

The Community Foundation of Louisville and Metro United Way are jointly offering $250,000 in grant funds to support programs that help create a college-going culture in the Louisville area.

This new grant opportunity is offered to 501(c)3’s, and is in response to the vision created by 55,000 Degrees, a public-private partnership that is working to increase the number of people in our community with college degrees by 55,000 by 2020.

The goal of this grant program is to create a grassroots movement that changes the language from “if you go to college” to “when you go to college”. Grants will support existing programs as well and new and innovative ideas.
