House of Ruth, a non-profit community-based organization which cares for families and individuals with or affected by HIV/AIDS has an upcoming opening for an Executive Director due to the incumbent's approaching retirement. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the program and its operations, including increasing public awareness of House of Ruth and its activities, resource development and maintenance, volunteer recruitment, community education and public relations, fiscal management, personnel management and strategic and program planning. Successful applicants should have 5 to 7 years experience in social services or non-profit management; a Master's degree in business, management or clinical field; grant researching, writing and reporting experience; skills and experience in developing and managing budgets; strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, and a passion for the organization's mission.
