Reports to: Board of Directors

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree plus ten years of relevant experience (e.g., in non-for-profit and/ or parish ministry) or Master degree plus four years of relevant experience.  Desired qualifications include training or experience in social work, management, theology, and finance as well as experience working with local churches and community agencies.  Person must have demonstrated ability in fundraising and relationship building. 

Special Requirements: The individual needs to be a creative thinker with knowledge and skill in bringing ideas to reality through programming.  Must possess administrative skills and capabilities.  Individual needs to be committed to involving local churches, neighborhood organizations, volunteers, community organizations and agencies in a community ministries program.  Individual must be comfortable with public speaking and asking for donations and/or volunteers. 

Major Objectives:

·        Works with Deputy Director in meeting direct service needs (preferably through volunteer recruitment)

·        Fundraising

·        Relationship Building with Churches

·        Staff supervision (including meeting with ADC & Kids Café, staff supervision/meetings, performance reviews)

·        Administrative duties (including meeting with Accounting manager, Board requests, staff requests)

Salary: $44,000 - $49,000 plus benefits
