Vice President of Programs - Full-time, exempt, 40+ hours/wk

Establishes strategic direction for the program function and oversees program design and implementation to ensure achievement of annual goals. Ensures and manages external community partners and the alignment with internal departments. Leads a highly functioning office through budget accountability, strategic planning, and technological/administrative support.

* Plans, leads and implements programs in central office and all branches that are designed to increase Big and Little match relationships.
* Creates strong partnerships with agencies that focus on building capacity, sustained match and revenue growth.
* Collaborates and develops annual plan with development/recruitment/partnership departments to ensure an on-going supply of resources and volunteer candidates to support agency programs.
* Provides accountability to funding sources as required. Supports staff participation in Bowl For Kids’ Sake.
* Monitors organizational effectiveness and program performance using work flow database system (AIM)
* Analyze the current technology infrastructure in scoping out the next level of information technology systems that support growth and the organization overall.
* Develops annual program, facilities and support staff budget in collaboration with the finance manager and Chief Development Officer.
* Motivates and holds staff accountable to work efficiently and effectively and to exceed minimum standards and practices.
* Communicate the branded message internally and externally. Represents agency in community meetings and through collaborations with other service providers.
* Represents program in board meetings (as requested) and staffs board Operations Committee meetings, Hispanic Leadership Council and other committees (as requested)

Minimum Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred plus 8+ years of related work experience required with progressive management responsibilities preferably at the senior management level. Routine office environment, flexible work hours. Travel required to local communities, event locations and businesses. Must have car, valid driver’s license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.
