Job Skills/Requirements: The Vice President/Chief Financial Officer is responsible for

·        Ensuring the soundness of the agency’s financial structure and for managing the agency’s relationships with financial institutions and government agencies. 

·        Establishing and maintains the agency’s financial policies and procedures by providing operational and administrative direction to the accounting, budgeting, and treasury functions 

·        The accurate, timely financial and budget reporting to meet management needs and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. 

·        Billing and collections in accordance with payor requirements and contracts; directs and administers the preparation and accounting of employee payroll. 

·        Working collaboratively with the President/CEO, Board of Trustees, and Executive Leadership Team in strategic planning initiatives. 

·        Supervising staff including hiring, training, assigning and directing work, developing and appraising performance and other personnel related functions.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA with 10 years progressively more responsible experience in financial management.  Non-profit accounting experience preferred.  Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees of all levels, board members, vendors, auditors and all other stakeholders.  Excellent analytical and communication skills.
