LG&E Challenge Grant- Support Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana rss feed
LG&E has announced a challenge grant to support
Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana's quest to re-open Salvation Army Clubs.
The goal is to raise $500,000 in 60 days
October 21, 2011 marked the closing of the Boys &
Girls Clubs which has displaced 1,700 of our community's disadvantaged youth who attended the Newburg, Parkland and Portland Boys &
Girls Clubs formerly operated by the Salvation Army.
The challenge gift, along
with other donations received, is designed to encourage Louisville's corporate
community and individual donors to help facilitate the re-opening of these
clubs.
