The Mattingly Center is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization. Our funding depends upon charitable contributions, fundraising events, grants, annual fund drives, endowments and Medicaid reimbursements. At the Mattingly Center, we believe all persons are capable of lifelong learning and growth. Furthermore, we acknowledge the significance of family and friends in the life of every individual and the capacity of all persons to enter into meaningful relationships. Our mission is to provide the highest quality structured day services for adults with severe developmental disabilities. The Mattingly Center provides adult day, community living supports, therapies, support coordination, supported employment and case management. The Mattingly Center, Inc. currently serves a total of 160 adults with severe developmental and intellectual disabilities. There are currently 44 full time and 14 part time employees.

Job Skills/Requirements
1.Bachelors degree in related field (Business Management, Non-Profit Administration, Social Work, or Human Services) Masters level preferred.
2.5+ years of non-profit experience including fundraising and community development.
3.3+ years developing and managing budgets.
4.3+ years of direct staff management experience.
5.Demonstrated skills in motivation, influence, diplomacy, tact, and leadership
6.Strong written and oral presentation skills; experience in public speaking required
7.Demonstrated experience in government relations and reimbursement
8.Major gift and fund-raising experience (both private and public)
9.Experience in capital campaigns and other major gift fund development activities
10.Experience working with an agency that serves persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the desire and ability to work comfortably with individuals receiving services and their families.
11.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of the Mattingly Center and Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville.

The Executive Director provides decision making, operational oversight and is responsible for the direction and implementation of the organizations mission, vision and strategic initiatives. The Executive is responsible for community relations, regulatory compliance, leading fundraising strategies and major gift fund development, with fiduciary responsibilities to the agency and the community. The Executive Director leads the management team to build strong community relationships and provides leadership and direction to the staff. He/she is a self-motivated leader. The Executive Director represents the organization to the public, policy makers, and community organizations. The Executive Director is accountable to the Mattingly Center and Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville Foundation Board of Directors
