METRO UNITED WAY IS ONCE AGAIN PARTNERING WITH MAYOR FISCHER’S GIVE A DAY - WEEK OF SERVICE AND WE INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE!

Last October, the Week of Service was a huge success with over 8,000 volunteers engaged throughout the community.  But this year, the Mayor is determined to set a world record for volunteer service and prove that Louisville is the most compassionate community.  And now as an official Kentucky Derby Festival event, Give A Day 2012 is bound to be full of energy and excitement!

At Metro United Way, they create connections, get commitments, and help focus energies around our common goals…and we invite you to be a part of it.

So don’t wait, enter your project today!  No project or need is too large or too small; and don’t be afraid to be creative!  You may find volunteers from across town will take you up on your offer. (PROJECT FORM – CLICK HERE!).

OR if you are already planning something for this week…tell Metro United Way about it!  They want to include everyone’s hour, day, or week of service, so you can now simply report your activities for the week.  Neighborhood Groups volunteering on neighborhood activities COUNT.  So, let everyone know about it!  (ACTIVITY FORM – CLICK HERE!).
