Directions:	The Center for Nonprofit Excellence is located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky at 323 West Broadway in ArtSpace building. Enter the building on Broadway and class will be held on the 2nd floor in the Green Room. The Center for Nonprofit Excellence provides parking validation at the Brown Parking Garage behind the Brown Theatre. This structure can be accessed via Third or Fourth Streets. You many also park at the System Parking at 301 W. Broadway (directly across from the ArtSpace building). You must bring your parking ticket in with you to receive validation.

This class is designed to focus on those issues including: § Accounting for contributions received § Accounting for in-kind contributions and contributed services § Discounting of contributions § Classifications of net assets as unrestricted, temporarily restricted, or permanently restricted § Accounting for third party trusts § Accounting / disclosing for a nonprofit as the beneficiary of a will § Compliance and reporting requirements under OMB Circular A-133 § Communications by the auditors to the audit committees § Management letter comments and SAS-112 At least *some* of these issues most likely apply to *every* nonprofit organization. If these are the issues that concern you, there are specific accounting standards to be followed to properly record and disclose these items in your financial statements.
