Demystifying Banks and Start Fresh!

March 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free for Members / Free for Nonmembers

Instructor: Renita Rosa

This class will be a two-part session diving into how to get the people we serve back into positive banking situations. The first hour will be led by Fifth Third Bank’s Adam Hall discussing how to demystify banks with the people you serve as well as troubleshooting common issues and obstacles. The second hour will be facilitated by the Office of Resilience and Community Services Joseph Cecil, who will be training all attendees on how to utilize and facilitate Bank On Louisville’s Start Fresh curriculum. This curriculum is a second chance banking curriculum that comes with a certificate that can be used to open up a second chance bank account at select local financial institutions. Any attendees of the class will be certified going forward to utilize the curriculum with their clients and issue certificates. This training will count as continuing education in the certification program.

Any questions about this training or about the certification program as a whole, please contact Joseph Cecil at joseph.cecil@louisvilleky.gov or 502-574-1969.
