Executive Leadership Learning Circle of Excellence Series
January 16, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Third of the month, repeating until June 18, 2020
Instructor: Merv Antonio
Leading a nonprofit organization is one of the toughest jobs. Providing leadership, day-to-day management all while keeping the ship afloat can be challenging! It can be “lonely at the top.”
The best leaders take time to reflect with colleagues, share best practices and renew themselves. This confidential, yet friendly, gathering for chief executives will cover issues most important to increase your organization’s effectiveness such as: board management/development, staff issues, resource development, among others…
This learning experience is designed for executive directors and CEOs of nonprofits looking to learn and share in a diverse community of leaders. Level of experience, staff and financial resources are diverse. Those interested in attending ELCE are those who understand the value of a diverse peer-directed learning environment that leads to improvement and refinement of their craft and work. The learning circle is based on the idea that every member has something to learn and every member has something to contribute.
The group will do a Meet and Greet on December 13. Then the group will meet every third Thursday of each month, starting January 16, 2020. The goal is that the group will continue to meet and be self-sustaining after the sixth session.
Discussion topics are agreed upon by the group members.
Sessions will be designed to enable professional development, explore organizational challenges, discuss relevant topics, build community, as well as offer the peer support and shared resources to help you succeed in your role.
If you are a nonprofit executive director, please join us for our Executive Leadership Circle of Excellence, as we connect with your peers in a safe, energized and organizationally diverse community.
Each session runs from 9:00-10:30 a.m. The dates are: January 16, February 20, March 19, April 16, May 21 and June 18. Due to the intimate nature of the group, space is limited!
