Webinar: Board Chair Boot Camp (Two Parts)
October 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm$55 for Members / $85 for Nonmembers
Instructor: Eric Schmall
Newly appointed board chairs, vice-chairs, board officers, presidents-elect, and others aspiring to lead a board one day: Report to Board Chair Boot Camp!
Successful nonprofits depend heavily on competent, well-governing boards. Those boards don’t evolve and maintain themselves without exemplary leadership that radiates from the key board leader, the board chair.
Attending CNPE’s Board Chair Boot Camp can give you insights into performing in this key leadership role. Participants in this virtual session will leave with a solid grasp of skills and behaviors they need to become highly effective board chairs.
Boot Camp participants will learn all aspects of board chair expectations, critical successful behaviors of board chairs, and the five key relationships superior board chairs must foster to ensure successful board leadership.
What are past attendees saying about Board Chair Boot Camp?
“Gives me a much clearer sense of priorities.”
“If we apply only a small part of these concepts, we will be much better off.”
This is a must-attend opportunity for board chairs (and their executive directors).
The fee for one person to attend both Part 1 and Part 2 is $55 for CNPE members and $85 for non-members. But we are offering special pricing for two attendees from the same organization, with the second person costing only $30. So, attend with an executive director or incoming board chair, and the cost for both participants for both Part 1 and Part 2 is only $85 for members/$115 non-members. Please contact Darlene Whitney at firstname.lastname@example.org or 618-5330, if you have any questions.
Sessions are Oct. 2 and 9 from 12-1:30 PM. Sessions will also be recorded and made available to participants after each session.
