Family & Children’s Place’s Kosair Charities Child Advocacy Center has a full-time opening for a forensic interviewer/therapist II. The interviewer /therapist will perform forensic interviews with child victims and witnesses of sexual abuse, providing case management coordination, collaboration and court testimony. He or she performs clinical work involving child sexual abuse cases including interventions, coordination, collaboration and advocacy services on behalf of children and families. This position utilizes trauma-informed evidence based practices and policies in its delivery of services.
Salary Range: $35,000 - $50,000
Position requires master’s degree in a mental health discipline with two years post-degree counselling or clinical experience.
Specialized training in forensic interviewing and a minimum of three years’ experience in interviewing child victims of sex abuse are also required.Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse and Neglect check, pre-employment drug and TB screen.
