Job Description

OVERVIEW: The Supervisor of DV Services manages the Domestic Violence Non-Residential Services Program.


  • Provide coordination, direction, and direct service for daily case management, court advocacy, and support for non-residential clients in Metro and Outreach counties.
  • Help develop, implement, and evaluate non-residential programs and services. Provide community, school education, and training. Ensure collaboration/liaison and positive communications with community partners to ensure effective program coordination and victim services.
  • Provide regular individual supervision for non-residential advocates and facilitate team meetings.
  • Collaborate with shelter to look for ways of connecting residential clients to non-residential DV staff and services.
  • Participate in Center meetings and committees, attend community meetings, participate and lead trainings as appropriate. Participate in supervisor on-call rotation as scheduled.
  • Successfully complete KCADV Level I certification within first year of CWF employment and maintain certification for duration of employment with CWF.
  • Participate in the review, interview, hiring, and training of new staff in compliance with Center policy and procedure.
  • Maintain and monitor quality assurance on monthly statistics, reports, client files, documentation, resource and procedure manuals, forms and data entry, etc., as it applies to the Non-Residential program services.
  • Participate consistently in outreach communities to improve the program’s visibility and increase the number of active participants.
  • Support volunteers assigned to Outreach programs, working in conjunction with Volunteer Manager on any unusual or special request from Outreach services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements.
  • Fluency in languages other than English are a plus.
