Mia Cooper, Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Metro United Way
Mia Cooper is senior manager of diversity, equity, and inclusion with Metro United Way. In her role, she provides the internal and external leadership and project management expertise to Metro United Way’s equity, diversity and inclusion through community level partnerships and efforts to strengthen individual engagement in marginalized communities.
Prior to joining the equity team, Mia was the program manager for Metro United Way’s Early Childhood Success initiative. While in that role, she identified innovative ways to create a collaborative network of high-quality early childhood centers. These centers allow educators, mentors, and community partners to provide access to affordable quality childcare settings in communities with the most pressing needs.
