CNPE Privacy Policy

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence collects information on its members to members can track their seminar attendance, use of consultation, and assessment information on their programs. Access to that information is restricted to individual and organizational members’ password-protected accounts and the identified administrator for each organization. The information is not available to others.


CNPE does not share individual membership or client data with any outside organization without the express permission of its members and clients. It may share aggregated, “anonymized” demographic information about its members with other organizations, including funders of nonprofits.


CNPE’s Commitment to Online Security

We rely on physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the security of personal information. All agents and contractors with access to CNPE’s website must also adhere to this policy as part of their contract with CNPE.


Personal Information that CNPE May Collect Online

CNPE collects personal information online, including names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers, and uses that information ONLY for the purposes for which it was shared. Typically, organizations and individuals share information to seek answers to their questions, to get consulting help, and to sign up for membership or an event. All transactions provide the required security, with financial transactions occurring on secured sites.
