About

Bridget joined the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in November 2021 as our first Chief Operating Officer. She oversees CNPE’s day-to-day operations.

 

Bridget brings significant experience in operations, strategic planning and consulting, marketing and business development, organizational management/alignment, communications, and DE&I to her new role with CNPE. Most recently, she worked for Louisville Metro in the Mayor’s Office as a Communications Manager. Before that, she spent eight years at Humana Inc. in analysis, internal consulting, and communications; strategic planning, financial planning, and reporting for clinical programs at the University of Louisville School of Medicine’s Wendy Novak Diabetes Center; and marketing and business development for the global law firm Hogan Lovells LLC.


While at Humana, she also served as Co-President of IMPACT, Humana’s African American Network Resource Group.


Bridget earned a BA in public relations from Hampton University and an Executive MBA from Bellarmine University. Her background in the nonprofit sector includes having served on a variety of board and leadership roles in finance as a member of the Junior League of Louisville and as a member of the Associate Board for Maryhurst.

 

Bridget believes in the power of education, learning, and transparent conversation to create sustainable, impactful nonprofit ecosystems focused on diversifying an organization’s footprint in the community. She believes that every voice counts, that every voice should be heard, and that together we can create amazing outcomes.
